OUR CABIN IS IN A QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD. We want you to have a good time but excessive noise and partying isn't a good fit for our cabin. We have a wonderful wooden deck, surrounded by tall pine and fir trees. The deck is furnished with patio furniture, and a large private jacuzzi. We have a propane BBQ grill for your use on the deck as well. You will have access to our entire cabin, our deck, hot tub and all of the incredible natural beauty that you are surrounded by in Lake Tahoe! We are often in the area and when we're not we have locals available to help out to needed. However, generally, once you rent the property the space is yours for the time reserved. OUR CABIN IS IN A VERY QUIET, FAMILY ORIENTED NEIGHBORHOOD. We want you to have a good time but excessive noise and partying is not appropriate for for our cabin. There is also access to hiking trails within the neighborhood. Northstar is the closest ski resort although Squaw valley & Alpine Meadows are both about a half hour drive away. If you want to drive a little further, Diamond Peak & Mt. Rose ski resorts are 30-45 minutes away as well. Kings Beach is about a 5 minutes drive away and has a grocery store, shopping, public beaches, restaurants, bars and most amenities a small mountain town could offer. Even closer, Carnelian Bay & Tahoe Vista have a few restaurant and market options as well. We have space for 1-2 cars in our driveway. If you have 2 larger cars, you may not be able to fit both in the driveway, especially in the winter when there is snow buildup. You cannot park on the street, summer or winter, due to the short term rental regulations in the area, so please plan accordingly. Unfortunately, we don't have other parking available onsite, so you may need to park one car elsewhere if you require two larger cars for your visit. We ask that you agree to to keeping noise down prior to your stay. Also, a security deposit will be held by AirBnB for the stay. There is a transient occupant tax added to all stays less than 30 days.
