Secluded Cottage- READ DESCRIPTIONS

Looking for a great getaway? 3 hours from NYC! New hilltop home with spectacular views, perfect for an active vacation of fishing,hiking, mountain biking..10 minutes from Colgate & Norwich with antique shops (Madison)and restaurants. Cooperstown baseball hall of fame not far. Very secluded. The space Open and airy first floor with pellet stove. Note there are taxidermy animals on wall and firearms in a locked cabinet. Large open family room with cable TV. Full kitchen with hardwood floors and granite table. Expresso machine. Wi Fi is available. Second floor two bedrooms. (I suggest opening window upon arrival and turning in fans) One queen bed, two twin beds. Bedroom with twin beds also has a futon. There is a pull out couch in the living room on first floor. One full bathroom. The home "technically" sleeps 8..keeping in mind there is one bathroom. Price is per bedroom. Guest access Guests have access to entire home and property, fire pit. Using firewood modestly. No sheds, atv's , or pizza oven.i ask all guests to stay quite and not to disturb other homes in the area. Other things to note Gorgeous Sunsets and a spectacular 37 mile view of Northern New York State .Enjoy an evening outdoors next to a cozy fire, enjoy cross country skiing,fishing ,hiking . there are guns in the locked gun cabinet in the home! There are personal items in the home since I live there part time, this is not a business that I do for airbnb! There are deer head mounts on walls! Please consider all notes, view all pictures. If you think you will be offended by staying at my home please DO NOT book. Also there are times of "hard water" that are known and if water pump is not used often there can be a smell of sulfur. Im usually at the home a day or two before your arrival and will run water to prevent the oder. I suggest running water a while in kitchen and bathroom before drinking it. It should be fine. There is an Electic panel behind the television and pump clearly labeled.please turn on and off as needed.
