Welcome to our home this winter! Our small country loft, located on the 2nd floor of a cottage from the 1860s, welcomes you to the heart of the village of Ayer's Cliff. Visit our Christmas markets, enjoy a hot chocolate on the Chemin des Cantons, attend a Christmas concert. The space Our small country loft, located on the 2nd floor of a cottage from the 1860s, welcomes you to the heart of the village of Ayer's Cliff. The house is located between Magog and Coaticook, in the Eastern Townships. Just 15 minutes from Stanstead Customs, we are happy to welcome American customers as well. The large bright room offers a bedroom area with a queen size bed and storage for your clothes, a small sitting area with Netflix TV, a coffee counter with equipment (mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, basic dishes) as well as a bathroom with shower. The private entrance is located on the side of the house. No shared rooms. Privacy guaranteed! A few minutes' walk away are the shops in the heart of the village (restaurants, grocery store with liquor, gas station, shops, etc.). The Ripplecove Hotel and Spa, known for its cuisine and for the weddings it hosts in a country setting, is a few minutes from the house. Whether for an event, a good meal or just a walk in the surroundings, everything is done naturally, without having to take the car. Outdoor enthusiasts will be served with the Tomifobia Nature Trail. A 20 km route on the old railway that runs through the village. Ideal for walking, cycling, or cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. In summer, we live to the rhythm of the village and Massawippi Lake. Water sports, beach, cycling, strolling through the shops and enjoying the sun, not to mention the Saturday morning country market are on the schedule. The loft becomes your comfortable pied-à-terre for days that feel like a vacation. In winter, the loft becomes a sweet and comforting refuge where you can relax after a day of skiing, winter hiking, visiting shops or a good meal in the area. A cozy little corner to enjoy the season to the fullest. Take the time to breathe, enjoy the village and return to simple things. Fall in love with the Eastern Townships and make yourself at home. It is important to note that we live on site in the other half of the house and that we have dogs. Animals never access the private rental space, but we prefer to notify visitors. The house is located directly on Main Street and enjoys the action of the heart of the village. Guest access Access to the loft is between the house and the garage, through a separate entrance with self check-in. Other things to note The loft is located on the second floor and has a private entrance. Access to the rental is via a staircase. We have dogs, but they never access the rental space, so your stay remains completely private and comfortable. The house is located on Main Street; traffic can be a bit higher in high season, but everything is within walking distance to shops and the lake.
