Espace Douffet - A peaceful haven in the middle of the city

The Douffet space is a mansion warmly equipped with style for the organization of a quiet stay with family or friends. This place will be the starting point for your visits to Liège. The amenities have also been designed for Business stays. The place was renovated from floor to attic between June and November 2019. The space In the heart of Liège (on the edge of the Amercoeur and Outremeuse district), located on a quiet street close to the lively Médiacité and Meuse district, is our haven of peace: the Espace Douffet. Much more than a gîte: it is a welcoming house, a place of retreat, relaxation, gastronomy, conviviality, friendship... built and renovated with warm materials (stone, wood and slate). With 5 bedrooms, the Espace Douffet can very comfortably accommodate 9 people or even up to 12 people on request. The relationship with guests is based on trust and respect. Based on this principle, we decorated it with love, with objects and furniture of choice that we love. We make it a point of honor to welcome you personally. For the tranquility of the neighborhood and respect for the place, the organization of student parties, bachelor parties... is not allowed. Failure to comply will result in an automatic non-refund of the entire deposit. NB: The house is secure and has an alarm system. What is not included in the rental price: - A fixed charge (water-heating-electricity): 40 eur per day. - Bed linen rental: €10 per person (optional) - Bath towels rental: €6 each (optional) - Dogs are welcome but an extra 15 eur/animal is required - Cleaning 100 eur (mandatory) - A deposit of 500 eur is requested and refunded within one week to your bank account. Guest access The house is protected and has an alarm system. ENTRANCE from the street: - 1 entrance hall with cloakroom - Children's playroom GROUND FLOOR: - A fully equipped kitchen and dining room Equipment: 2 fondue sets (8 p.) + blender + percolator + toaster, mixer, ... dishwasher, food storage space. - Living room with open fire and leather sofas. - Veranda/winter garden with terrace and access to the garden. BEL-ETAGE - Separate toilet and hand wash 1ST FLOOR: - Bathrooms including a toilet, 2 sinks, a bath/shower - "America" room: 1 double bed separable into 2 single beds (+1 bed 1p option) - "Asia/Europe" room: 1 double bed separable into 2 single beds (+1 bed 1p option) - "Africa" bedroom: 1 double bed separable into 2 single beds 2ND FLOOR: - "Oceania" bedroom: 1 double bed separable into 2 single beds What will be available in the gîte: - Dish towels, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, sponges, garbage bags, etc. - Vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, spices, etc. - Housekeeping products. - A changing table. - Toilet paper. - Duvets and pillows - Bed linen (duvet cover (220*240) and pillowcases (50x50) are MANDATORY for hygiene reasons. Note: You can bring your own bed linen or rent it at a low price. Same for bath towels. Mattresses min 21 cm thick. 8 beds 80 x 200 cm (in double bed version or 2 single beds) Duvet dimensions: 220*240 duvets for 2 people. 150 x 200 single duvets. Pillow dimensions: 50 x 50 Bed linen and towels are washed after each rental Other things to note The wide open spaces make it a welcoming place that you don't want to leave. For your comfort, we have placed particular emphasis on comfortable bedding and complete equipment. Mainly intended for families, friends, athletes, culture lovers and visitors... Or professionals looking for a central and warm environment. Our four-legged friends are also welcome but they will not be able to access the rooms.
