At 1700 sq. feet, it's spacious and light-filled, with large bedrooms and comfy furniture. Bedrooms are separated down the hallway from living, dining and cooking spaces. The master has a king bed and en-suite bath with heated floors. The second bedroom has queen and twin beds, a desk, and bath down the hall. Both bedrooms feature comfy duvets, blackout shades, wool carpeting and ample storage. Baths are bright, spotless and have plenty of towels. Separate dining room leads into living room furnished with Walter Knoll couch, Fortuny floor lamp, Marshall speakers, wifi and Apple TV. DVDs, games, beach towels and some sports equipment are available. Washer/dryer in the unit. This is the top flat of a two-unit building. The home is self-contained for utmost privacy on a quiet street. ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD The Marina is a beautifully classic San Francisco neighborhood with an interesting mix of architectural styles. It sits right on the Bay, equi-walking distance from urban and natural attractions. Boutique shopping, bars and restaurants are a couple blocks away on both Chestnut and Union streets. Walk to grocery stores, bookshops, ice cream parlors, the library and movie theaters. Enjoy San Francisco's Off the Grid food trucks Friday nights at Ft. Mason or Sundays in the Presidio. The Marina Green is a half block up the street, and from there folks get a stunning view of the San Francisco Bay. Turn east and head to Fort Mason, Fisherman's Wharf and onto the Embarcadero. Turn west to The Palace of Fine Arts, Crissy Field, the Presidio, and right over the Golden Gate Bridge. Access to Wine Country couldn't be simpler—just head over the Golden Gate Bridge and explore. The Marina is a fun and beautiful neighborhood with something for everyone. The entire top flat is yours. You share an exterior stairway with the flat below. Your front door is straight ahead and you'll have a digital keypad for entry. I love the Bay Area and am happy to help you plan a fun holiday in San Francisco.
