Description
West of the Ness is a spacious period home packed with character, featuring rich colours and interesting details throughout. With an inviting hot tub in our enclosed garden and Sky TV (including Sky Sports), there’s something for everyone. Located in a quiet residential area, yet only a 10-minute walk from Inverness city centre’s restaurants and bars, it’s perfect for a city break or a base for Highland adventures. VAT receipts are available on request. The space Upon entering the property you are struck by the grand entrance, with high ceilings, cornice detail and a long stairway. The lovely warm living room has comfortable seating, a 55” smart TV (with Sky TV & Sky Sports channels), a period fireplace (please note that the fire is not operational) and a large bay window. It leads on to the dining room, creating a huge space for your group to socialise. Double doors from the dining room lead out to the outdoor patio area, hot tub and garden beyond. To the rear of the property, the modern kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine, offering you a home from home experience. There is also a breakfast bar and a snug area with a second TV. Upstairs, there are five double bedrooms, each individually decorated, giving the property real character. Four of the bedrooms, including the attic room, feature Super King Size beds. Three bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, while the remaining first-floor bedroom is a smaller, cosy double. The attic bedroom, accessed via a set of steep stairs has a mature, spacious feel. The main bathroom on the first floor includes a bath and shower. The driveway has parking for up to 2 cars and there is a parking permit for a further vehicle to park on the street. We also have an Electric Vehicle charge point on the driveway and a secure garage to store bikes, kayaks, golf clubs etc. The rear garden is fully enclosed, with a lovely sunny patio area with Hot Tub and a large picnic table perfect for al fresco dining. Pets are welcome and we have a cot and highchair for children. A selection of books, games, toys, Netflix and a Nintendo Wii provide entertainment for rainy days. All bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs. The attic bedroom on the second floor is accessible via very steep stairs. Only individuals with suitable mobility should consider using this room, and caution is advised when allowing children to access this area. The house is also semi-detached with a family neighbouring, therefore not suitable for parties or noisy groups. None of the fireplaces are operational. This home is 200 sq.m. A VAT receipt can be provided on request. Guest access You would be renting the whole property for the exclusive use of your party. Self check in, the key can be accessed through a lock box on the property. Other things to note This house is not suitable for stag, hen or noisy groups. Well behaved dogs are welcome. However they should never be left in the property alone, they are also only allowed in the ground floor rooms and not on the furniture. Access to the attic bedroom on the 2nd floor is via some very steep stairs, please be careful. Only those with appropriate mobility to access this bedroom should consider sleeping here.
