One guest room includes a plush queen bed and sofa bed, while the second guest room also offers a super-comfy queen bed. Need more sleeping space? The family room includes a queen-size wall bed and a 55” smart TV for cozy nights in. Cook up something special in the gourmet kitchen, fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and everything you need for a great meal. Gather around the large dining table that seats eight or unwind in the oversized living room with plenty of space to relax. Step outside to explore nature—Los Vaqueros Reservoir is directly behind the property, and a short hike to the top of the hill reveals sweeping views of surrounding peaks, wind turbines, and even Lawrence Livermore and Sandia National Labs in the distance. Wine lovers will enjoy being within 15 miles of 50+ renowned wineries, including Wente’s 5-star restaurant, concert venue, and golf course. You're also just 15 minutes from the San Francisco Premium Outlets, BART, and both national labs. Surrounded by hiking trails like Mount Diablo and Los Vaqueros, the property itself offers room to roam. Guests are welcome to explore—just keep in mind that the terrain includes unpaved paths, gopher holes, and the occasional grazing cattle, so please do so at your own risk. We’re actively maintaining and improving the property and make every effort to schedule projects around your stay for minimal disruption. Guest access Guest Access Guests have full access to the main house and surrounding property, with the exception of the tiny house and caretaker’s home, both located on-site. The tiny house is approximately 500 feet from the main house and is also available to book separately on Airbnb: View Listing. Other things to note Due to the semi-remote location of our home, cellular reception may be limited. However, once connected to WiFi, you can use the WiFi calling feature on your phone for reliable communication. We currently use Starlink satellite internet, which provides a strong and dependable connection. Please be sure to read the house rules carefully before booking. A minimum fee of $500 will be charged for any violation of the house rules.
