In one of the oldest streets of Birgu is this small house dating back over 500 years. It features a water well which was hand carved into the stone and also a very fun cave-like bedroom. Legend has it that this space was used as a chapel. The area which was used as a chapel has a hand carved arch making this house a true masterpiece of the era of the knights of St.John - if only the walls could talk! HPI-7836 Licence The space The house features 2 bedrooms - one double room which is set in a very cosy cave like semi-basement, and a kids room with bunk beds. The space can also accommodate another 2 people on a very comfortable sofa-bed. A total of 6 guests can enjoy this incredible house. There is also a little kitchen for self catering and a shower which is designed like old Maltese tiles. A new Smart-TV is also available along-side high speed internet. An AC is available in the main Bedroom and also the living room, while fans are available all around the house. There is a flight of stairs to access the main bedroom. The stairs are also closed by a gate for safety as it is quite steep.(See pictures). The house was designed with modern furniture for ultimate comfort while staying in a part of history.
