Hotel Der Schmittenhof

The Schmittenhof is a 4-star hotel at the foot of the Schmittenhöhe, right next to the ski slopes and just 984 feet from the cable car. All rooms have a furnished balcony overlooking Lake Zell or the mountains. The bright and elegant nonsmoking rooms feature a flat-screen cable TV, a safe, and a bathroom with bathrobes, hairdryer, and make-up mirror. Hotel Der Schmittenhof’s Mediterranean-style spa area includes several saunas and a herbal steam bath. Guests can use it on weekdays. International dishes, Austrian specialties, and fine wines from the wine cellar are served in the restaurant. Guests can also enjoy homemade schnapps and a healthy breakfast buffet. The ski storage room features a ski boot dryer. A private ski bus with a stop directly at the hotel is provided. Free private parking is available on site. The center of Zell am See can be reached in a 15-minute walk. From mid-May to mid-October, the Zell am See-Kaprun summer card is included in the rates. This card consists of many free benefits and discounts, including free use of the cable cars.
