PERFECT FOR FAMILIES Our home has over 2,500 sq ft, including a spacious living room, dining room, kitchen, outside garden patio, two fireplaces, and lots of natural light! As parents of young children, we also have many books, toys, games, and even an outdoor 7 ft trampoline to enjoy! SLEEPING CONFIGURATIONS: -Bedroom #1 (downstairs): Single upper bunk bed (no lower bunk) -Bedroom #2 (downstairs): Queen bed with pillow-top mattress (low to ground), single upper bunk bed (no lower bunk), small toddler bed where lower bunk is (sleeps up to 3 adults and one small child) -Bedroom #3 (upstairs): Master suite with Queen bed with pillow-top mattress and plenty of space for air mattresses SPECIFICS: -3 bedrooms with fresh linens and extra blankets -2.5 bathrooms, including clawfoot and shower tubs with rain shower head as well as fresh towels and toiletries -Full access to kitchen and dining area, including all appliances, dishes, and cookware (you provide the food) -Large living room with wood-burning fireplace, Smart HD TV with DVD player, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+, plus a great DVD, book, and board game selection! -Private back garden patio with dining area -Laundry access in unit (front loading with detergent provided) -High-speed wi-fi connection throughout the house -Local organic coffee and tea provided daily -Complimentary driveway and on-street parking available -Cannot accommodate pets -This unit is a non-smoking environment (smoking allowed outside only) THE EXTRAS: -Additional guests: $25/night for more than four guests -Cleaning fee: $275/booking (for stays 3 or more nights) -10% discount on nightly rate when you book for a week or longer -City of Sacramento Occupancy Tax: 12% of total stay will be automatically collected by AirBnb when your booking is confirmed. We can easily add this on using a Special Offer so just let us know what your needs are and how many guests you have (we can accommodate up to 6 per night). *This is currently being updated and is not available for booking at this time* PARTIES/GATHERINGS Please note that due to the City of Sacramento Short-Term Occupancy Regulations, we are no longer able to provide space for parties or gatherings beyond the guests that are registered to stay overnight. If you plan to throw a special gathering with extra guests while in Sacramento, we also own The Makers Place™ (@MakersPlaceSac) in Midtown Sacramento that can accommodate gatherings at an additional fee (separate booking process). We also can recommend other local spaces nearby that can accommodate larger groups at reasonable rates. PLEASE NOTE that this is our personal family home so you will see family photos and personal belongings. While some guests love this, others who prefer a more hotel-like space that has empty closets and available drawers may choose not to book. We have been hosting groups and families for over 13 years and love sharing our home with other travelers! Guest access When you book the entire McKinley Chateau, you will have access to all three bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as access to our spacious living room, dining room, kitchen, and outside garden patio. Coffee and tea are provided daily. You are welcome to use the kitchen (including all cooking utensils, flatware, dishes, and spices), but please purchase your own food and beverages. Please let us know if you will need to use the washer/dryer and we can leave detergent for you. We also provide basic toiletries in a hospitality basket in your suite and extra linens and towels as needed. Local maps and tourist information is also provide for your convenience.
