Our "Bergwaldlodge Blickfang" is surrounded by the "Harz National Park" and is located 600 m below the "Brocken". You will love our mountain forest lodge(s) because of the view, the hillside location with south-west orientation, the 60 m² panoramic terrace and because of the exclusive furnishings and the space offered. Our place is good for couples (romantic vacation), adventurers, athletes (bikers, climbers), families (with kids) and larger groups up to 14 people if both houses are rented. The space ATTENTION! In addition to "Blickfang," there is our second almost identical lodge "Einklang." If you find that "Blickfang" is occupied during the period you want, call us to see if there are still vacancies in "Einklang" or look at the corresponding listing. At this point we would like to point out the "OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION", because there are additional costs (e.g. electricity consumption of the sauna, spa tax) listed, which are PART OF OUR RENTAL AGREEMENT. The house "Blickfang" offers enough space for 6 people when using the sofa bed 7-8 people and is modern yet cozy in the trendy mix of styles. In the entire ground floor and the bathrooms, a gas central underfloor heating system under the seamless design floor provides cozy warmth. In short: NON-SMOKING HOUSE! Failure to comply can lead to significantly increased cleaning costs, which will then be charged with the deposit. From the hallway, you can reach the upper floor via a wide solid wood staircase. On the ground floor there is the living/dining area, the island kitchen, a large bathroom, the hallway and a storage room with washing machine and dryer. The 60 sqm partially covered south-west facing panoramic terrace with 3 meter roof overhang offers a unique view of the Schierker mountains. In autumn, the view with its leaf color game is reminiscent of the "Indian summer". Living/dining area: The spacious 40 sqm living/dining area with open island kitchen offers plenty of space to enjoy and feel good. A comfortable living area with an extendable sleeping function in front of a brick wall, the rotating fireplace and a spacious dining area ensure high comfort and moments of relaxation. The living and dining area is designed for 8 people. A high chair is also available. Island kitchen: The top-equipped island lacquer kitchen offers every comfort with high-quality Siemens electric appliances with a wide induction field with free cooking zone, an oven, a microwave, a spacious fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. Bathrooms The spacious bathroom with glass rain shower, Finnish log cabin sauna (electronically controllable up to 100°C) with LED ambient lighting and a large washbasin is the ideal place to relax after an eventful day. A door leads from the bathroom directly to the wooden terrace, which offers pleasantly airy cooling after each sauna session. If this cooling is not sufficient, use the outdoor faucet with ice-cold water. This area of the terrace is protected from unwanted glances. 2nd floor: Bedrooms: The house has 3 large bedrooms, each with a solid wood double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) with high-quality cold foam mattresses on adjustable slatted frames and a spacious sliding door wardrobe with integrated flat-screen TV. A travel cot is available and can be provided on request. Bathrooms: The modern daylight bathroom is equipped with a spacious glass rain shower, a washbasin and toilet. The seamless design floor is pleasantly warm via underfloor heating. Guest access Since you have the entire house at your disposal, there are no restrictions. The house also has a lockable side room where you can safely lock your bicycles or ski equipment. Other things to note In addition to the cost of the overnight stay, there are other costs: Electricity consumption 0.30 cents/ KWh; Water consumption 9.00 EUR/m³. Gas consumption 10 cents/kWh 200 EUR refundable deposit. Local spa tax 3.50 EUR / person per night. During the holiday periods, we reserve the right to set a minimum rental period of 1 week. Children from one year of age are counted as a full person. No discounts or rebates for children are provided.
