The Alpina Gstaad

Opened in December 2012, this luxurious 5-star hotel in Gstaad was built in elegant Swiss Alpine style, featuring natural materials like marble, sandstone and aged wood. The Alpina Gstaad features 4 restaurants and its own cinema. The unique rooms and suites all have balconies with mountain views and marble bathrooms with a flat-screen TV, luxurious toiletries, slippers and bathrobes. Some suites also feature an open fireplace and an iPad for guests to use during their stay. Restaurants include the Megu that serves Japanese cuisine. Guests can enjoy their dinner overlooking the Bernese Alps, and relax in the wine bar or in the Havana-inspired cigar lounge. Special occasions are celebrated in the ballroom. The Six Senses Spa can be used for free by guests and features holistic treatments, an indoor and heated outdoor pool, a fitness room, and a relaxation area. Wi-Fi, wired internet access is free of charge in the entire property. Covered parking is available for CHF 30 per day. A shuttle service to and from Gstaad Train Station is provided. The center of Gstaad is a 5-minute walk, and the next cable car station is a 5-minute drive away. Montreux is 25 mi away. This very spacious suite has a balcony with mountain views, a marble bathroom with a bidet, a second toilet, a seating area and a dressing room. Rates are per room per night and include in-room or breakfast in the restaurant Sommet. Also included are the access to the Six Senses Spa (internal and external pool, wellness and fitness area), WiFi Internet access, mini-bar soft drinks and snacks and complimentary shuttle service to/from the skiing/hiking areas of Gstaad. City taxes are excluded and need to be paid upon departure.
