The space Our beautiful lodge has hosted thousands of guests. Perhaps you will be one soon! Our lodge is located near the central area of Dillon in Summit County, Colorado (a.k.a. "Colorado's Playground"). We specialize in helping you have an enjoyable, comfortable and memorable vacation in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. There is even a fox den in the rocky hills adjacent to the Lodge. Moxy Fox and her 4 kits are often seen frolicking in the woods. We also offer free WiFi Internet access, ROKU HD T.V. with many movie channels. You are welcome to use your service logins as well! The Lodge is within walking distance to the main street in Dillon, about 1/4 mile away, and also 1 mile from Lake Dillon. Also within 1 mile is a grocery store, a multitude of restaurants, shops, a theater, bowling, etc. Everything you will need for your vacation is only a few minutes away. Absolutely! You have a private large capacity laundry room. For your convenience we also provide free laundry detergent. ==================== Kitchen: What items are available in the kitchens? Our kitchens are typically equipped with enough amenities for you and your group to prepare and enjoy delicious, healthy meals. As with most homes - especially of this size - stairs are a necessity. There is one stairwell spanning 2 levels. The stairs are indoors, wide and carpeted. =================== Infrastructure / Utilities: How is the home equipped with heat, water, etc.? Construction: The Lodge is solidly built for the extreme conditions in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Construction consists mostly of insulated concrete forms (14" thick walls of concrete, steel and R-40 insulation), some 2X6 framing, and 100 lb. roof loads throughout. The Lodge was purposefully designed to be "Green" so that we may enjoy the beauty of the mountains for many generations with minimal impact to the environment. We sincerely hope that our guests share these values. Electric and Gas: Standard services from X-cel Energy Water: 415 ft. deep well, flowing from a generous, high-volume aquifer. Water softener and purification system. Hot Water: High-efficiency, 75 gallon rapid-replenish system. Plenty of hot water! Heating: High-efficiency, Radiant heating in the floors of the 3 bedroom, game room and spa (excellent!). High-efficiency Natural Gas furnace used throughout the rest of the Lodge. Septic: Large system that produces "clean" gray water (not black water), with an underground irrigation system used to nourish the native trees. This sophisticated system is remotely monitored to ensure proper operation, and provides minimal impact on the land. This allowed us to retain trees that would otherwise have been removed had we installed a cheaper, less environmentally-friendly system. The Lodge was purposefully designed to be "Green" so that we may enjoy the beauty of the mountains for many generations with minimal impact to the environment. We sincerely hope that our guests share these values. =================== Parties: Is the lodge appropriate for Stag, Hen or College parties?
