The Kenwood House, is a newly renovated turn of the century craftsman cottage, one of the most charming in Kenwood! Walking distance to wineries, vineyards and restaurants! You’ll love our cozy farmhouse style, relax on the front porch with views of the Kenwood Plaza Park. Enjoy the HOT TUB and fire pit under the stars in the magical backyard! Sonoma County TOT #373 The house, over 100 years old, is lovingly cared for recently renovated and now with central air conditioning. We are situated on a seasonal creek with lush landscaping and towering redwoods, maples and other beautiful and interesting plants. Located in a rural community neighborhood, the house is private yet connected to the community. Guests to the Kenwood House will have full access to the house. The owners have a private studio and outbuilding for their personal use. During your stay at the Kenwood House we will be available to offer recommendations and information about our beautiful region. The Kenwood House is located in the heart of Sonoma Valley, the Valley of the Moon. Kenwood is located near hundreds of Sonoma and Napa Valley wineries, all within easy driving distance. Enjoy casual walks in the neighborhood and beyond with vineyards close enough to smell. Hiking and cycling opportunities abound with three state parks and numerous county parks nearby. Easy walking to wine tasting, restaurants and a local market. The Kenwood House is located on the original Kenwood Plaza, now a serene and inviting neighborhood park. Mature trees, expansive lawns and the town gazebo, an iconic memorial to children gone too soon. Our nearest neighbor is the historic and charming Kenwood Community Church. Just down the road is Morton's Warm Springs, a day resort with pools to cool off in and relax, reminiscent of bygone days when Kenwood was a hot spring resort destination. Transient Occupancy Tax - A 12% tax is required by the County Sonoma. This is included in AirBnB fees collected. Rate and cleaning fee are subject to this tax. A queen sized sofa bed is located in the living room. For privacy, a pocket door can be used to separate the living room from the other bedrooms. The owner has an on-site studio where he operates his landscape architectural business, but works away while guests are present. TOT Certificate #373
