This beautiful apartment is situated in ‘THISSION’, right, at the heart of the ‘Historical’ center of Athens. This is a freshly renovated, two bedroom private apartment situated in the historic center of Athens very close to the 'THISSION ' metro station. It is bright, very cozy and owns a balcony with an exquisite view to the ACROPOLIS , FILLOPAPOU HILL, and the Observatory of Athens for the stars ( ASTEROSKOPIO). The space This is a two bedroom private apartment situated in the historic center of Athens very close to the THISIO metro station( 100 meters away ). The apartment has been recently renovated and is fully furnished. It can host 2 to 4 people. It is bright, very cozy and owns a balcony with an exquisite view to the ACROPOLIS , FILLOPAPOU HILL, and the Observatory of Athens for the stars ( ASTEROSKOPIO) . The kitchen is fully equipped, with a stove, refrigerator, microwave and all sorts of pots and pans. Of course the area has plenty of options for drink and food . The two bedrooms are separate from the living room and kitchen area. The first bedroom has a king size double bed with layer of natural materials, and the second bedroom - decorated as a child room has two full size beds ( either for grown ups or for kids) . Hot water is provided 24 hours a day (we have a solar system , so when it's sunny , even for a couple of hours , we have hot water all day and night- if it's rainy or cloudy all day we open the boiler) . Please , do not forget to turn off that boiler after 15-20 min . Needless to say internet access is available. ( VDSL (Wind Fiber 50MBPs) There is a television set and even an interesting selection of films for dvd viewing. There is a variety of real books across the living room. Of course I would suggest a visit to the open air cinema, especially on a full moon night, it is a unique experience and it is situated very nearby . The balcony is ideal for having breakfast or a drink at the night time viewing Acropolis. It is a warm house , that means that even in the cold days, inside it;s quite warm, as it is very well situated. We have central heating , that on winter is open 2- 4 hours per day when the temperature is low. Extra heating can be provided by the two AIR CONDITIONS , one in the leaving room, the other one in the main bedroom, . We have air condition and fans that will cool you down at any time through the hot summer days and nights. The heating is central so on wintertime the radiators will be open around 4 hours . Usually from the afternoon til nighttime . It is an apartment so well situated that it doesn't get very cold on wintertime , neither too hot in the summertime . Extra heating can be provided by the A/C and portable heater. The apartment is on the second floor of a three floors building and it has no elevator, 32 stairs to walk from the entrance in front of my door . It is a non smoking apartment , smoking is allowed of course at the balcony, and no pets allowed. Being at the heart of the historical center means that there are no bars around , and loud music or noise is allowed either, the neighborhood around is calm , even though my apartment is surrounded from cafeterias and restaurants, as it is a very touristic spot, but on night time ( after 20.00pm ) there is going to be calmness around. A few minutes away ( 15 min walk maximum) is MONASTIRAKI. A very touristic area ( flea market - antiques shop area ) which on night time is full of bars and restaurants . I'm sure you will enjoy a walk at APOSTOLOU PAULOU which is 20 meters away from my home's entrance , the most popular pedestrians street of Athens that crosses the historical center and connects PLAKA and the MUSEUM OF ACROPOLIS with MONASTIRAKI and the modern center of the city . Guest access This beautiful apartment is situated in ‘Thissio’, right in the middle of the ‘Historic’ centre of Athens. The Thissio metro station is only 3 minutes away by foot and so is the famous pedestrian walk ‘Apostolou Pavlou’ that leads from the station to the most important historic sites of Athens: The Acropolis, The Acropolis museum, the Herodes Atticus theatre, the Pnyx hill, the Roman Agora' and more. All kinds of stores, food markets, art galleries, museums, restaurants and coffee shops can be reached within walking distance (15’ to 20’) during the day. The famous flea market in ‘Monastiraki’ is also very close, one metro station away. The nightlife around Thissio is also is very diverse and easy to reach. Last but not least, the 'Thissio' metro station will take you directly to the 'Eleftherios Venizelos' airport and the Port of Piraeus towards all destinations in Greece and abroad. Other things to note I would like to confirm, potential travelers that my apartment and accommodation has been disinfected and cleaned , meticulously so that can feel comfortable staying at.
