Come enjoy a beautiful space while you explore Hatteras Island. Our studio apartment has everything you need to relax and unwind during your visit. Located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood only one mile from the famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, this convenient location allows you to walk, bike, or drive to local beaches, restaurants and points of interest. Complete with comfortable seating, beautiful furnishings and soft sheets. The space Our modern spacious ( 500 square feet) studio apartment is nestled in the Buxton Woods Maritime Forest on Hatteras Island. The open floor plan consists of an entryway, living area, wet bar, bedroom nook and full bathroom complete with a walk in tile shower. The smart TV ensures you can watch a variety of programs. The wet bar includes a mini refrigerator, drip coffee maker and pour over coffee maker. We also have an electric tea kettle for pour over coffee or tea. We do not offer any cooking appliances (microwave, oven, grill). Please do not plan to cook outdoors or use any type of grill. Our space is best suited for couples who want to eat their meals at local eateries and restaurants. Our busy family of four lives upstairs and we will be available to assist you with anything should you need us. We have two friendly dogs. Please note this is a non-smoking (no vaping, burning of incense or candles) property that accommodates two guests only. We do not permit pets on the property for any circumstance. **This is not an appropriate property for service animals as we have dogs living on the property. ** Any smoking, e-cigarettes or vaping on the premise will result in a non- refundable $250 charge. Guest access You will have your very own space. We have a convenient wet bar area with a sink, electric kettle, coffee maker and mini refrigerator. Other things to note We provide freshly laundered linens, towels, and beach towels (located in the black cabinet). There are also extra sheets and blankets should you need them. Our main living space is directly above the apartment so there are footsteps, voices, etc that do carry into the apartment. We are out and about during the day and the house is pretty quiet from 9 pm on.
