BELLPORT VILLA ON THE BAY, two week minimum stay

This waterfront Bellport, Long Island home overlooks the bay and rests in total privacy yet is walking distance from the marina, shops, restaurants, and the Gateway Theatre. Our kayaks & paddle board are launched from the bottom of our lawn on our private beach. There's a salt water pool, a flower garden, a fire pit area, a BBQ, bikes, and outdoor shower. This is a perfect setting for a family vacation, but not for parties! The space The large living room and dining room are in the center of the house with 2 bedrooms on either side so there's lots of privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped and the outdoor grill is gas fired. Relax under the cherry trees in the hammock, explore the flower garden, have your meals at the outdoor dining table by the pool, toast marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit, swim at night under the stars in the salt water pool, launch the kayak and explore the bay, or sit in the spacious living room and watch a movie on the large tv. This house is really special and you'll find it hard to leave! Guest access full access with the exception of two locked closets. Other things to note Lots going on at the small marina which is a 5 minute walk from the house: free concerts on Friday nights at the outdoor bandstand by the dock. Bring a picnic and listen to the live bands. There's a playground on the bay and sailing and paddle board lessons are offered. The ferry to Bellport's private beach on Fire Island leaves on the hour. Bellport village is intimate and neighborly and peaceful. Though there's always something to do in the evening -see a play at the Gateway theatre, a movie at the Arts Center in nearby Patchogue, dinner at a local restaurant - we love being at home and enjoying family time. We buy fresh local produce and homemade pies from the nearby farm stand and grill local clams and fish on the barbecue, open a bottle of wine and have a feast!
