Villa La Petraia is an ancient villa located within the historic centre, and was at the time, the first and only restaurant on the ancient route of the medieval road connecting Florence to Siena. With 5 rooms, individually furnished with antique elements combined with modern design without sacrificing a comfortable and luxurious atmosphere. With a large two-level garden and a swimming pool with breathtaking views, La Petraia is a magical place to experience the heart of Chianti. The space “Lungarno” is divided into two living spaces. It is our only room with a private terrace, which offers direct access to the pool. The terrace is furnished with a comfortable sofa set, two armchairs, two loungers and a sunshade. The layout provides you with maximum privacy, even though you are in an outdoor area. The bedroom is comfortably furnished with a double bed and an ottoman for a relaxing stay in the room. In the stylish bathroom, an antique sideboard has been transformed into a state-of-the-art vanity with two modern industrial-style washbasins, and a stunning marble backsplash. The spacious walk-in shower is backed by a beautiful crystal accent wall. “Lungarno” is the name of the boulevards bordering the Arno River, which divides Florence into two.
