The Alžbetka cottage is located in the sought-after area of the Tatra Mountains, from where it is close to various directions to your favorite places for hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing or fun in water parks. Its great advantage is the peaceful environment that our guests seek for relaxation and privacy. If you are looking for a quiet environment at the same time near well-known tourist and recreational centers, then our cottage is designed just for you. The space Chalupa Alžbetka offers year-round accommodation for 10 guests. It has a ground floor and a first floor. On the ground floor there is a spacious social space – a living room connected to the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for longer stays, the dining room is connected by a French window with a terrace, from where a breathtaking view of the Tatras opens. In the living area, you will find a warm fireplace, a smart TV and board games for relaxing evenings with your family. In the kitchen unit you will find all the necessary electrical appliances, including a dishwasher and a coffee machine. On the ground floor there is also a bedroom for two people, a bathroom with a shower and an infrared sauna, ideal for relaxing after a day spent in nature. The floor consists of two more bedrooms – one 3-bed with a double bed and a single bed, the other 5-bed with a double bed, two single beds and the possibility of an extra bed. There is also another bathroom with shower and toilet. For the youngest guests, a children's corner and two travel cots are prepared. The cottage Alžbetka is situated in a quiet alley and has a large fenced plot overlooking the Tatras. In summer, you can sit comfortably on the sun loungers in the sunny garden, on the terrace or in the gazebo, you can grill, cook a cauldron goulash and at the same time you will have your children in sight while playing on the playground or trampoline. The cottage is located in the village of Važec near Štrba. From here it is close to Štrbské Pleso, Podbanské, Smokovec, Lomnica, Ždiar, Slovenský raj, but also to Liptovský Mikuláš and Jasná - comfortably on the highway. Above the village there is the famous Važecká lookout with a seating area and a beautiful view of the panorama of the Tatras, the Važecká cave and the Museum of Folk Culture Važec. The neighboring village of Východná is known for its folklore festival. From the surroundings of Važec you will enjoy views of the Tatras as if in the palm of your hand, without the hustle and bustle of large tourist resorts. A big attraction is the popular Aquapark Tatralandia and the Bešeňová Water Park. During the winter, kilometers of cross-country trails stretch around, downhill skiing enthusiasts can head to the resorts of Podbanské, Račkova dolina or Lopušná dolina. Guest access As our guests you will have the entire cottage to yourselves. The land has an area of about 700 m2, which guarantees you plenty of space and privacy to relax in the garden. The plot is fenced, 2 cars can park in the yard, another 2 in front of the house. The garden is flat, suitable for ball and other games. We regularly mow the lawn, border it and enrich it with flowers and trees. You can sit on the garden sofa set under the shelter, in the gazebo and on the terrace. Your kids will love the trampoline, sandbox, turnball, slides, swings. Let's go inside the cottage now: it has a large kitchen, dining room, living room, like one large open space. From the living room you enter the bedroom for 2 guests. From the hallway, you enter the bathroom with the infrared sauna and further up the stairs to the upstairs. There is a larger hallway with a children's play area, a bedroom for 3 guests and an apartment with 2 connected bedrooms for 5 guests. Of course, the bathroom is also located upstairs. The rooms are bright, sunny, with mountain views. We had rented various cottages, but none was so well equipped. The cottage is spacious, clean, tastefully furnished - you can feel the atmosphere of the old days and at the same time we have a feeling of luxury. In addition to the usual facilities, you will find a dishwasher, a coffee machine, a toaster, some durable food in the kitchen - anything we forgot to buy and needed for barbecue was there (spices, garlic, charcoal). The infrared sauna in still cold weather was more than appropriate. The cherry on the cake were the views of the snow-covered Tatras. We enjoyed walks around and a traditional morning run... We appreciate the maximum helpfulness of the owner. We will definitely return to the cottage.
