We like our privacy, do the cook and cleaner need to be there? A. Whilst the villa staff are included in the price, it’s a completely optional service and you can give the team a well-earned rest for any given afternoon, day, or week you please! Q. Are there restaurants/bars nearby? A. There are a selection of wonderful restaurants / bars, just a short walk along the tranquil beach. Kijani Beach is 2 mins’ walk, Evergreen Bungalows, 5 mins, Blue Palm hotel is 7/8 mins. For more restaurants, bars and nightlife, there is Paje just a 10-minute drive away. Q. Are there shops nearby? A. There are a few local shops within a few minutes’ drive from villa, and other larger shops in Paje itself (10-min drive). Q. Is the area safe? A. The island of Zanzibar is generally very safe, making it a popular destination for tourists. The villa also comes with 24/7 security and CCTV to provide that extra peace of mind! Q. What’s the best way of getting around on the island? A. There's a good network of taxis that operate on the island - which can either be flagged down or booked over the phone. If you'd prefer to hire a car, we’re able to facilitate this for you. ~ Other ~ Kindly bear in mind Zanzibar is a developing island, which means that we sometimes deal with power cuts. We do our ultimate best to minimise this, but would like to make you aware that it is out of our control and unavoidable sometimes.
