Due to a new Ordinance in town restricting parking, we have chosen to move the parsonage to a minimum 4 week (29 day minimum) rental with a liberal refund policy. Our house was built circa 1868 and has historic charm inside and out. It is in the historic district of Georgetown a 3 minute walk from downtown. The house is quite open and spacious and really comfortable. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and sleeps 6-8 (A basic contract is required by our insurance company). The space Historic mountain home built in 1868. Formerly an Episcopal Parsonage, this home has old world charm combined with modern conveniences. Relax in the backyard and enjoy a gorgeous mountain view or take a two minute walk to Georgetown's historic main street where you can shop and dine. You will be a stones throw from Guanella Pass (US Route 285) and only a short drive from Loveland's ski area. The perfect mountain getaway for couples, families and friends! Georgetown is a quiet little town that comes alive many weekends of the year as celebrations and events are planned by local groups. The neighborhood and downtown 3 blocks away are a walk back in time with a feel and look of the late 1800s! Our home is a spacious place with two large common rooms and a well equipped kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms with very comfortable beds. One bathroom is new with a Victorian tub and the master bath has been updated. Our neighborhood is the oldest most established in Georgetown with beautiful Victorian style homes surrounding us. The locals and neighbors are delightful and very welcoming. The Parsonage was used recently by Cinemount Studios in Denver as the backdrop for scenes from a film, For the Living, due out the end of 2015! We strongly recommend a short 2 minute walk to Downtown on 6th street to take in the Georgetown experience. shops and restaurants abound! There are many things to do in and around Georgetown. The hiking and mountain biking is phenomenal. Fish in Clear Creek or Town Lake. Go up to the Continental Divide! Take a ride on the train from Georgetown to Silver Plume and back and visit the old gold mine! Ice fish or watch the Jeep Races on the frozen lake! Georgetown has festivals, races and events throughout the year that are celebrations this great little town. Guest access The entire property is available to our guests. Other things to note The house is tucked in a valley and surrounded by the Rocky Mountains on all sides -- Perfect! Scenes from a movie being produced by Cinemount Studios in Denver were recently filmed at the parsonage. The movie, For the Living, should be out end of 2015 or early 2016!
