If you're traveling with kids, Blue Bay Beach across the road is great for a swim, snorkel, or surf. On the Mandurah foreshore, there is a skate park and a water park with a pontoon to swim out to with slides running down into the water - a lot of fun for the kids! For younger kids, Doddi's Beach is a nice, safe, sheltered beach just a short stroll away with a children's playground and BBQs. If you're bringing a boat, the Mary Street ramp is around the corner with easy access to the Ocean and the Estuary. We are close to the ocean and while we strive to keep our windows clear from salt from the sea carried by wind and condensation, this is difficult to manage at times especially during storm season. We have a hose on the balcony that you can use to wash down the windows if need be and a squeegie under the sink for those guests who would like to give the windows a wash if need be so they can enjoy the views even more! It’s a peaceful neighbourhood and we like to ensure that we continue to have great relationships with our neighbours. Please ensure that if you are bringing dogs, they are supervised at all times and not just left to bark in the backyard or left unattended. We want to continue to keep our home pet friendly. We are NDIS friendly and have this or a number of other properties that may cater for your specific needs. We can potentially access support/carers for families that may require it. Please enquire. House Overview: Our spacious two-storey home is located directly opposite the beautiful Indian Ocean and a cycle path, making it the perfect destination for an active holiday, family vacation, or romantic getaway. Top Storey: The top storey offers two bedrooms, a living area, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and a wrap-around balcony where you can watch the sunset over the rolling waves. The living area is spacious and includes a games/reading area with plenty of books, DVDs, and board games to choose from. The dining table can seat 12 people comfortably - it is extendable! Bedrooms: Bedroom 1: King-size bed, walk-in robe, ocean views, access to the balcony, and a desk with an office view. Bedroom 2: King-size bed with a built-in robe. Bedroom 3: Two comfortable bunk beds (one double with a double bed bottom) and a built-in robe. Bedroom 4: Two Bunk Beds Kitchen and Living Area: The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook a meal for your family or a tantalising gourmet meal for two. Enjoy a freshly brewed coffee with the coffee machine, tea or milo while you take a breath and relax. Includes stove, oven, microwave, refridgerator, cooking basics and well supplied kitchen with wok, pots, pans, crockery and rice cooker... everything you need! Living Room Three sofa lounges, coffee table There is also a large flat-screen TV, free Wifi, a DVD player, board games, and books galore. Bottom Storey: The bottom storey includes a bedroom with four brand new bunk beds, a bathroom, and a toilet. It also has a laundry with a large washing machine and dryer available for use. Dining: The dining table seats 12 people comfortably with sweeping ocean scenery while you eat. Children: For families with children, there is a childproof gate above the stairs to protect your little ones. We also have a porta-cot and high-chair for your use. You will receive the access details a few days before your arrival, once you have completed the Truvi guest verification process. There is parking available for up to four cars in the driveway. Identity Check & Security Hold Before check-in, guests complete a quick ID and card verification via our Guest App - similar to hotel check-in — to ensure safety and peace of mind for all. A $750 security hold (required by our insurer) is placed and automatically released after your stay once house rules are confirmed and no damage is noted. We’re happy to consider early check-in and late check-out requests, though these options are subject to availability and not guaranteed. Our cleaners charge a fee $50 per hour for this service. For guaranteed early access, we recommend booking the night prior to arrival. This offers peace of mind and a smooth, stress-free start to your stay. Local Environment Notice As this is a beautiful beach house property in regional Western Australia, it’s normal to occasionally see insects like ants, flies, or mosquitoes — especially if food is left out or doors/windows are left open. While the home is professionally treated, changes in weather can increase activity. We recommend keeping food sealed and doors closed where possible. If anything feels unusual, please let us know - we’re happy to assist. We recommend guest may purchase repellents and encourage guests to take reasonable precautions. This is part of the natural environment and does not constitute grounds for refunds or negative reviews. Guests are required to read, sign and accept the conditions of the rental agreement as per our insurance requirements. We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes to your plans. Our cancellation policy is strict, and refunds will not be issued unless the issue is caused by our listing. Travel insurance can help cover costs if you need to cancel or your trip is disrupted. For stays of one month or longer, a complimentary mid-stay clean will be provided as a condition of the rental. The cost of this clean will be covered by the property owner.
