Sanitizing and cleaning products are provided for your use and comfort during your stay. We gladly rent the cabin to guests 26 years of age or older. The Sugar Shack is a newly remodeled 1930s cabin tucked away in the Rocky Mountains with all-new furnishings that offers unique charm. It offers an upstairs loft with a double size bed and a twin bed in the enclosed porch, both perfect for relaxing, reading or napping. The front of the cabin faces Pikes Peak and truly does offer one of the best views in town! The cabin in the heart of town where you can park your car and walk two blocks walk to the main street, parks, restaurants, a bakery, churches, coffee shops, and a brewery. Only one block from amazing Memorial Park with astonishing views of Pikes Peak and has beautiful walking paths and is dog friendly. The town movie theatre and the Dinosaur Resource Center are about a 4-block walk. The Sugar Shack offers a unique eclectic environment with a cozy and inviting atmosphere for gatherings with family or friends, a romantic getaway or to recharge, unwind and indulge in relaxation. Outdoor living - the Sugar Shack offers an inviting and large outdoor area on the property with amazing views of Pikes Peak. It has a hot tub, an outdoor wood fire pit, a hammock for reading, relaxing, or napping, an outdoor table and chairs, a picnic table, and a gas grill facing Pikes Peak and with views of Pikes National Forests, along with unique outdoor decor such as an outhouse and Tack Room. Dog-Friendly Cabin with large fenced-in yard - $30 PET FEE (2 DOG MAXIMUM) Want to bring Fido? We think your dog would like it here too. Woodland Park is a dog's paradise! The Sugar Shack is within walking distance of parks and hiking trails, and lakes and reservoirs are just out the door. If you bring your dog, we kindly ask: * Please, no dogs allowed on beds or furniture! *Tell us a little about Fido * No chewers * Dog mush have all shots up to date * Must be kenneled at all times if you leave the cabin * To refund all of your damage deposit, please clean up after your pet in the outdoor areas and inside the cabin prior to your departure *** Please note unauthorized dogs or other animals, parties, smoking, or vaping inside the cabin will result in an automatic $250 deduction from your damage deposit. Amenities include WIFI, a 4-person hot tub with beautiful views of Pike National Forest, a Weber gas grill, a foosball table, an outdoor hammock, and the conveniences of home with a stocked kitchen for home-cooked meals. The cabin has retro appliances such as a full refrigerator, and a 4-burner gas stove top with a griddle, oven, and microwave. The dining room table accommodates six with views of Pikes Peak. For our tiny travelers, we provide a Pac & Play and highchair. Enjoy the convenience of a full-size Samsung washer and dryer on-site. Other provided amenities include shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, hand soap, body soap, towels, hot tub towels, coffee for drip coffee maker, coffee filters, and tea. Entertainment - in addition to a full-size foosball table, the Sugar Shack has 3 LED smart 4K Fire TVs that offer numerous apps (Netflix and many more) along with Dish Satellite for local news and national sporting events. (TVs are in the living room, Queen room, and Rec room in the basement.) There are also indoor and outdoor games for all ages, books for adults and children as well as coloring books and crayons for the kiddos. Location - Sugar Shack is in the heart of downtown. One to 2 block walk to parks and the main street where you will find coffee shops, shopping, restaurants, a bakery, a brewery, and more. It's a 4 block walk to the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center and the local movie theatre. The Aquatic Center is a 7-block walk and 3 miles to Charis Bible College. Local - The Sugar Shack is a short drive to Santa's Work Shop, entrance to Pikes Peak, CO Wolf & Wildlife, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, and Cheyenne Zoo. Cripple Creek - 27 miles, Eleven Mile Reservoir - 30 miles, Royal George - 56 miles, Denver - 72 miles. Camping, hiking, and fishing right down the street! Like skiing, but don't like the crowds or lodging cost? It's a gorgeous 1 hour and a 40-minute drive to Breckenridge.
