Palazzo Calcagno-Ruffo is a unique historic Sicilian residence located in San Giorgio di Gioiosa Marea (ME). It is surrounded by an ancient exotic garden with views of the Aeolian Islands and a century-old Ficus tree at the entrance. Guests can immerse themselves in the captivating ambiance of an old Sicilian noble countryside home, just a few steps from the sea and 30-minute drive from Capo D’Orlando, Milazzo, and Portorosa. Remote workers are warmly welcome. The apartment is on the first floor of the villa, accessed by stairs. It features a large lounge with a stunning view. There are two bedrooms: one spacious double with a sea view and one smaller single. The apartment also includes a kitchen and a bathroom. It's perfect for a small family or a group of friends looking to enjoy a lazy day at San Giorgio Beach, or to explore the beauty and ancient traditions of Nebrodi, which are largely unknown to many. All guests have access to the private garden and outdoor resting areas under the shade of our century-old trees. Palazzo Calcagno-Ruffo is located at kilometer 81 of State Road 113 Messina-Palermo and is easily accessible from the Patti highway exit, which is about 4 km away. We provide private outdoor parking for our guests right in front of the villa. The beach and the small town of San Giorgio di Gioiosa Marea are within easy walking distance. The nearest railway stations are San Giorgio and Patti. II will be present very often in the house and I will be happy to offer advice and suggestions to my guests. The villa is surrounded by trees, so you'll likely encounter some mosquitoes, flies, bees, geckos, and tiny spiders in the garden. We do our best to keep them away, but sometimes these "small visitors" may find their way into our apartments. If you have a serious phobia of such creatures, this may not be the right place for you...be advised! Please be aware that during summer weekends, there may be some noise in the evenings from a nearby outdoor disco.
