Best thing in Newport Beach? Location! This townhouse is steps away from the sand and was remodeled in 2016 with high end appliances and finishes. With a high attention to detail, this is the perfect retreat for business, pleasure, and anything in between. Stay near the heart of Newport Beach - close to restaurants, shops, and the pier - but far enough to get some quiet time. Beat the heat of summer because this place has central AC too! The space This 1800+ square foot townhouse is open & airy with lots of room! The downstairs consists of the kitchen, dining area, and family room. The living area is open with high ceilings and great natural light. The living room has new Samsung 4K TV which is perfect for a movie night in. There is a powder room downstairs and a full size front loading washer and dryer are located in the attached one car garage, which are available for guest use (detergent is provided). The kitchen is outfitted with a Wolf Range & other high end appliances. The dishware provided is a beautiful set of Mikasa bone china with plenty of flatware and glassware. Stainless steel and non-stick pots and pans are provided so guests can use whichever they prefer :) If you have any specific questions on what is in the kitchen, please just ask! If you would rather cook outside, there is a Weber 6 burner gas grill available to use on the patio along with BBQ tools. Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms (2 king beds & 2 queen beds). Two bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and the master bedroom has a TV. All bed and bath linens are professionally laundered. There are 3 bathrooms upstairs. Two have showers along with jacuzzi tubs, and one has only a shower. Nest toiletries are included for all guests as well as hair dryers and an iron with an ironing table. It is the perfect place to relax after a long day at the beach or at work! Please note that this property does have a one car attached garage, but will only fit a small to mid-sized SUV or car. There is street parking around the property for larger vehicles or if your party has more than one car. Frequently Asked Questions: 1. Are there two units? Are they connected? Yes, these are two separate units. There is an front unit and a back unit, but they are not connected. This listing is for the back unit, and the front unit does not share an entrance with the back unit. 2. Do you rent the whole duplex? We provide bedding for all the beds. Bedding will include: fitted sheet, flat sheet, duvet & cover, and four pillows with pillow cases. For towels, we provide 16 bath towels, 16 hand towels, 8 washcloths, and 8 beach towels. 4. Is there a BBQ? Yes, there is one natural gas BBQ. The BBQ is on the patio and is a Weber Genesis natural gas 3 burner BBQ. 5. How far is the beach? The beach is less than 300 feet away from the property. Although you can't see it on a map, there is a pathway in front of the property to get to the sand. 6. How much parking is included? There is 1 enclosed garage spot. There is street parking all around the area and that does not require a permit of any sort. The garages are for normal to mid-sized cars and SUV's. Any large cars/trucks/SUVs will not fit and will need to find street parking. 7. Are there any beach items included with the property? Yes, we provide beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas. We also have small beach toys for little ones. 8. Do you provide bikes? No, but there are plenty of rental places nearby and some will even deliver the bikes to you. 9. Do you have baby items like pack and plays? No, we do not provide baby items because we do not have the ability to sanitize the items after each guest. There are rental companies in the area that specialize in providing baby items (and have the sanitization facilities) while on vacation and they can deliver the items as well as pick them up. Please note that there can only be 9 people (including children) sleeping at the property per Newport Beach City rules. No large parties or gatherings of any kind. If authorities are called to the property, you will be asked to vacate the premises immediately. We are licensed with the City of Newport Beach and have an added in 10% tax to the nightly rate that is remitted to the city per short term housing regulations. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house including the garage and patio which is perfect for BBQ's (which is included). Other things to note Please know we require a verified ID in order to pre-approve or book the property for security purposes.
