A/C is provided in the bedrooms during those extra hot days. Open-beamed high ceilings and polished concrete floors with underfloor heating covered with natural fiber area rugs in the living room, bedrooms, and entertainment room provide a modern farmhouse feel. The living area has two lovely sofas, a large recycled wood coffee table, and a couple of additional chairs. With windows all around, the quiet and peaceful environment is conducive to great conversation or a good read. A separate media room has a large sectional including a pullout queen-sized sleeper sofa (perfect for children) and original oil paintings. The entertainment center features a 60” Samsung TV, Blu-ray player, Denon surround sound, and whole-house sound system with speakers in the great room and master suite. The dining area offers a charming 10 + person dining table of recycled wood from an old Georgia textile mill. The heart of this home is its fabulous gourmet kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances, 5-burner stove, a lovely brushed black granite island with bar stools for the backseat chefs. Unlike many rental houses, this kitchen is well equipped with plenty of professional cookware, quality stemware, dishes and everything you will need to prepare and serve your feast. From your very private master suite with queen bed, open the double full glass French doors to enjoy the small gravel patio with sweeping views. The French doors also have drapes so you can block the light for sleeping in or an afternoon nap. Enjoy the ensuite bath with double sink and shower, or try the modern outdoor shower just around the corner. Two further bedrooms, one with 2 twin beds, another with a queen, share a beautiful bath with rainforest showerhead single-sink vanity. The partially covered front porch is a tranquil gathering place that looks out over the pool and bocce ball court on the side. Furnished with a large teak dining table and chairs for six, four beautiful chaise lounges for ‘sun worshipers’ and a comfy full-sized outdoor sofa with two chairs, coffee table, and end table, this entertainment space is especially serene.
