The space The property was opened just over ten years ago by British couple Richard and Tarnya Norse-Evans, both London based designers who transformed the handful of whitewashed cottages and farmhouse. Local design hero and architect Cesar Manrique was very much the core influence and they set about developing Finca Malvasia as somewhere visitors could find the ‘real rural’ Lanzarote whilst still being close to Famara beach and Tias village with its amenities. By checking into the 20,000sq metre wine estate with its dramatic volcanic backdrop, guests are treated to their own personal island guide with insider tips including where to go, best beaches, where to eat and most importantly on which day of the week.
