From the moment you step into our home in Cloudcroft you will feel elated you chose the Forest House! End your day on Puffy Royal hybrid memory foam mattresses wrapped in Luxury linens and AAFA-Certified White Duck Down comforters. We provide Hulu LiveTV on our SmartTVs plus a 5.1 LG system in the living room. We take great pride in offering the cleanest home by thoroughly cleaning & disinfecting between each booking. We welcome you to our home and hope you love it just as much as we do! We value the cleanliness of our home and utilize EPA approved disinfectants throughout the interior and surfaces using products like lysol followed by pinesol between each and every booking. This home is smart device enabled and check-in code will be given on day of check-in. When my wife and I first arrived at the Forest Houses we knew this was a place we would want to call home. The unique layout of the cabin with spiral hand built stairs add character we have yet to find anywhere else. The living room with floor to ceiling double pane windows facing the forest gives the feeling of freedom and solitude you find when camping. My wife and I furnished this home with all new furniture, memory foam beds, luxury hotel linens, renewed fixtures, LED lighting, SmartTVs, fast WiFi, and paint. We wanted a place we could escape to during the summer heat and snuggle up during the cold winters. This place is our future home and we have built it as such, it is meant to have everything you would need when you are away from home except for food. While we love the fact the Forest house surrounds you in nature you'll be surprised its almost central location to everything Cloudcroft offers. You can be adventurous with over 5 different hiking trail heads within 1 mile of our cabin and Ski Cloudcroft just a 5 minute drive. If you have a Jeep or OHV there are also multiple trails accessible from Highway 82 Or stay-in relax and recharge! With the fastest Wifi Cloudcroft has to offer you can stream to your hearts desire or binge the whole time using our included Hulu LiveTV on the 55 inch 4k LG TV paired with the 5.1 LG surround sound system in the living room. The entire property is covered by a Linksys Velop system so you should have strong WiFi signal when you are on the property. There are 3 A-frames on the backside of the property the A-frame directly behind the cabin is not occupied. I can be reached by phone at anytime because I am out of state this property is co-hosted by my younger sister Rachel. Cloudcroft is a community that prides itself on hospitality and inclusion with a long and rich history! A perfect weekend day here would be an early morning stroll to the Black Bear Coffee House, then heading over to the Over Look trail in the Trestle Recreation area. After that you'll be nice and hungry so grab some of the best BBQ around at Mad Jacks! Head back to catch an afternoon siesta at the Forest Houses then close out the night with a pint at the Cloudcroft brewery. The best part is you could walk this entire itinerary as start to finish is only 3.5 miles! The village is about a 10 minute walk from our property Check-in time is 3pm and is by key code so no keys!
