Double en-suite room in historic house

Modern comfort in an historic house. Cosy and comfortable. It is ensuite with a bath or shower, and includes complimentary shampoo and shower gel. A generously stocked hospitality tray with local sweet treats and an assortment of tea awaits. TV, blackout curtains, hairdryer and quality towels too. The space Our dates dates from the 1890s. We have modernised the interior to make it really comfortable for guests but tried to be sympathetic to its Victorian roots. We have an antique electric fuse box, a couple of original stained glass windows, the original outer wooden doors, and dado rails and picture rails still adorn some of the rooms. We also are fortunate to have a journal from circa 1905 which you are welcome to have a look through and get an idea of what concerned the original occupants of the day. All rooms ensuite. A delicious extensive continental breakfast is available for £5.50 in our dining room. Guest access We have a bright dining room, and a small guest lounge. Feel free to play any of the guitars, keyboard, ukeleles and various percussion instruments, and enjoy our great selection of boardgames and books. We have a small garden at the front where you can have your coffee, and a larger garden at the back for enjoying the sun. Computer, printing and scanning service. Free off-street parking. During your stay We live in the house and are really happy to help you with sightseeing ideas, itinerary planning, info on walking, golf, restaurants, cafes, and cycle routes etc. Other things to note As this is a Victorian house all rooms are accessed by stairs. We are happy to help carry your luggage to and from your room. A delicious extensive continental breakfast is available for £5.50 in our dining room. Excellent vegetarian options. Vegan, gluten free and lactose free available on request. We have bikes for hire :-)
