This lovely private room in a beautiful shared home is just the spot for a peaceful stay. The unique architecture of this dome house provides open and airy common spaces, while the natural wood features throughout help to make the home feel warm and welcoming. Outside, a sunny pool and patio with colorful, flowering garden and lounging spaces await. The space Room #1 is available for 1-2 guests. This private room is a bright and clean space with a comfortable king bed and large walk-in closet. Multiple windows bring in ample natural light and offer a lovely view of the pool, the garden and the property’s green spaces. A writing desk is provided for those guests who may need to use this as a workspace. Other room amenities include a wall- mounted flat screen Samsung smart television, full length mirror and room darkening curtains. The room is located upstairs, accessible via a spiral staircase. It is close to the full bathroom, which is shared with other guests. Guest access The house is located in a quiet, wooded residential neighborhood giving the feeling you are far from town. However, popular restaurants, shopping and grocery options are located just 2 miles away. Ample parking is available onsite. There is no public transportation, however ride sharing and grocery delivery services are available. Guests may use the pool but the hot tub is for PRIVATE use of the homeowner only. There is no breakfast served, however complimentary coffee and tea are always available. Guests share access to coffee/tea lounge room which contains a refrigerator, microwave and small electric oven for storing and heating food. The house kitchen is available for some light cooking. We kindly request no food be taken to the bedrooms. Instead, please take advantage of the use of the large dining table or coffee/tea lounge room. Laundry facilities are not available for short-term stay but may be coordinated with the host for long-term stays. During your stay As the host couple (Jan and Dianne) we live in the house and enjoy meeting our guests . We are available for text/call by cell phone from 7am-9pm for general questions during your stay. We do our best to respond quickly to inquiries through the Air BnB site. Other things to note * This is a private room in a shared house that includes other guest rooms available for rent, so it is possible that there will be several other interesting people to meet! * Food is not permitted in the bedrooms. We kindly offer several other places throughout the main floor and patio areas for enjoyment of meals. * The 1.5 bathrooms and other areas of the home are shared between house guests. * Quiet hours in the home are from 10 pm to 6 am. * All guest rooms are located on the second floor of the house and are accessed via a single spiral staircase. * As your hosts, we live on the ground floor of the house and have our own private bedroom/bathroom suite, but respectfully share the kitchen, dining and other common spaces with our guests. * The inside and outside of the property is also home to two very friendly and hospitable cat named M.J. * This listing is not available for booking by travelers with pets. * Due to safety reasons related to the spiral staircase and pool, this listing is not available for booking by guests traveling with small children (under 12 years old).
