(Fredericksburg is an hour away for VRE commuter and Amtrak trains). UVA and Woodberry Forest School are each a half hour away, and a half-dozen fine wineries and wedding & event venues are within a half hour. Shenandoah National Park, JMU, Massanutten and Wintergreen ski resorts are within easy reach. And, you may want to simply sun on the deck, sit on the porch, play piano or walk on the farm. A luxurious deep jetted (hot) tub for two is upstairs in the master suite, with a private sunbathing deck steps away. Please note there is NO outdoor hot tub, and no pets are allowed on the farm or in the house. Rolling hills in view, spectacular sunsets, a council ring fire pit, a new nature trail loop, a wonderful kitchen for cooking with a grill just outside, and plenty of space to feed a crowd, indoors or out, help you all relax and celebrate together.
