This was realized by literally bridging the original Icehouse of Lake Calhoun to a newer addition by a mahogany bridge that pours natural light into the living room from upper level skylights. The space Our 1600 square foot single family home offers the best of all worlds: quiet, residential area; vibrant neighborhood; easy (walking) access to multiple lakes, parks, nightlife, and restaurants. Guests enjoy a quiet place to put up their feet after a long day of work, sightseeing, or simply spending leisure time. Our home has a master suite bedroom, 2nd bedroom, one large bathroom, living room, dining room, nice size kitchen, large entry with a bench to easily take your shoes off. And a laundry in the basement with front loading machines so feel free to pack light. We feature: - 1600 sq ft - Two private bedrooms - Lots of windows with plenty of light - Air conditioning and central heat - Two gas fireplaces - One large screen TV - Lots of closet space that are empty for your arrival - Reading area with morning light on the first floor - High speed wifi - We currently have Amazon Prime and you have a multitude of entertainment options there. You are free to watch current run movies as well - and forward any payment of the cost. -- Guests can enjoy a relaxing meal here since the kitchen is equipped with a drip coffee machine, toaster, water kettle for your tea, and other essentials for cooking a full meal (pots, pans, etc.). -- We provide laundry detergent and bleach for you. -- On street parking is most convenient, ask about off-street parking. -- Wide variety of restaurants, theaters, movies, shopping (both small independent shops and national branches), upscale grocery stores, large variety of bars, music and people-watching. -- Bike trails, walking and running paths, sailing, canoe, kayak, paddle-boarding, cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, swimming and no fewer than ten gyms and yoga studios are all located within a few blocks. -- There is easy bus access - 3 blocks to bus line #6 takes you downtown and Target Field Stadium and the light rail train to US Bank Stadium for the Super Bowl, UofM campus, Union Station Downtown St Paul. Guest access Guests will have the entire single-family home to themselves and we are always available to help you.
