The lodge is located in the small village at Kitayama “north mountain” in Kyoto. This village is left behind in the modernization thus there is still the original Japanese landscape with history and tradition. There is a bridge to the Lodge, so it’s calm and quiet, keeps privacy apart from village. The beauty of Japan is based on sensibility to Nature. There is beautiful bath and Hammam faced on the garden, at night time, you will see deers through living room. Other things to note The lodge is located in north side of Kyoto, 40-50 min apart from city center. There is no train or bus to the lodge. If you come by taxi, it will take 40 to 50 minutes (cost around 11,000yenｰ14,300yen), from Kyoto Station. We have small a rent a car at lodge for shopping around village. There is farmers market and supermarket in 15 min drive.The price is 6600 yen+ Insurance premium 1,100 yen total 7,700yen. We will arrange taxi when you check out.
