The space The house is a fully detached historic stone home set on approximately 4,000 sqm of private land. It was originally built in the early 1900s and fully renovated in 2009, preserving its original Cycladic character while creating a comfortable summer residence. Inside, the house has a central living, dining and kitchen area, separated by a fireplace, plus two bedrooms with standard double beds, closets and private en-suite bathrooms with showers. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, cooking appliance, dishwasher, espresso machine, kettle, toaster, cookware and dining essentials. Outdoors, guests can enjoy the surrounding land, shaded sitting areas, outdoor dining space, stone table and benches, movable outdoor furniture, charcoal BBQ and outdoor shower. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire detached stone house and its outdoor areas. This includes the two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, the living/dining area, the kitchen, the surrounding land, shaded sitting areas, outdoor dining space, charcoal BBQ, outdoor shower and parking area. There is also an outdoor storage area where the central electrical panel is located. Other things to note The house is located in Orkos, a quiet and natural area of Kea, ideal for guests looking for privacy, beach access and a peaceful island atmosphere. Access to the property is by car or taxi. For the most comfortable stay, we strongly recommend having your own vehicle, either private or rented. The road from the port and from Ioulida, the main village of Kea, is generally in good condition, although some parts of the route are steep.
