The entire upstairs is very roomy and peaceful. 2 bedrooms with queens, large TV room with 5th person extra-long single bed. A kitchenette and newly remodeled bathroom. BIG wraparound porch to enjoy the garden. Historic Gold Rush towns, wineries, lakes, rivers, and winter sports are nearby. Yosemite's Highway 120 entrance is just a 1 1/2 hour drive away. A splendid getaway for any season of the year! Let us know if you plan a Yosemite trip as I will give you the best directions. The space The private, upstair accommodations in our home, are NOT shared with others unless guests are traveling together. The upstairs 1200 sq. ft. living space includes: two bedrooms (all beds have heated mattress option controls for those cold nights) a bathroom, recently remodeled ...includes tub and shower; a large family room with TV, DVD/video player, movies, and games; an extra-long, single bed for 5th guest; a kitchenette with table/chairs, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, toaster, cups, plates, utensils etc. snacks and drinks. For safety reasons, there are no cooking facilities. Guest access Guests have their own set of keys for bedrooms and front door. They may come and go as they please. Besides the upstairs accommodations, guests may also enjoy the large, covered, wrap around porch for a cup of coffee or evening refreshments. Spacious side lawn includes outdoor games (weather permitting) Other things to note Because our home is over one hundred years old, the stairs are steeper than current building standards. Handrails are available on both sides of stairwell if needed. Because the bathtub is on the upper level, we ask that you don't allow it to overflow as it will come through the first floor ceiling.
