Loft in Delaplane

This upstairs Loft Apartment is attached to the main farmhouse on our historic working farm in the beautiful Virginia countryside, just 50 miles from DC. This unit accommodates 2 adults and up to two children in pack-and-play or your child bed. This is the perfect place for a fun and relaxing farm-stay from which you can easily explore all our area has to offer--from exceptional vineyards to hiking and outdoor activities. Farm products are also available for pre-order. The space The apartment has it's own private entrance via exterior stairs. The kitchen includes a range and dishwasher for your convenience. We have plenty of parking space available. The space is ideally suited for 2 adults or a family with non-adult children using your own portal-beds. Please also note our refundable damages deposit of $500 which is required for all parties including pets or small children. Guest access Our grill, outdoor pool and attached hot tub are shared and available for guests to use, season dependent. Note that the pool is and hot tub are closed mid-October to mid-May. Please be considerate of other guests and residents, and also of the fact that we use propane (expensive) for heating. Adjacent to the pool deck is a fire-pit with seating which you are also welcome to enjoy. We have cleared hiking trails that meander through the woods on our property for your enjoyment.. No smoking or controlled substances are allowed under any circumstances anywhere on the farm. Other things to note Honor system: If you are traveling with minor children, please indicate 2 persons when you book and let us know via messaging that you have up to two minor children. We reserve the right to turn away guests who show up with more than, or different than, the number of persons booked on our Airbnb pages. We have 4 medium-large sized, friendly but curious dogs on the farm. Up to 2 well-mannered pets are welcome but please note our pet fee of minimum $50 per stay. If you will be traveling with your pet(s), please let us know specific details in your initial inquiry. Our farm visit rules require no smoking anywhere on the farm, inside or outside, at any time. In addition, due to proximity of livestock and other guests, no loud noise or pool/hot tub use are permitted between 9:30 pm - 7am. We are a working farm so please respect that we go to bed early & start work early! We welcome and encourage our guests to explore the farm.
