Experience historic elegance in this circa 1867 French Second Empire Vermont Bed & Breakfast on the village green in Fair Haven, Vermont. The space We are a regular B&B with 11 rooms (average $120/night each), all with private bath and gourmet breakfast for 2 included (8-10am only); 3 rooms can handle a third person in the room for +$20. 3 rooms have king beds, 1 has two twins, and the rest are queens. For families, 2 of our rooms can be joined to form a 2-room suite each with its own bath (the combination is a King+Twin and Queen, able to sleep 5) Unfortunately, the AirBnB website design does not provide for an easy way to properly list our rooms. Based on our room descriptions above you need to decide how many actual rooms you would need. Once you confirm the room requirements, we can give you a more accurate price. If you plan on skiing at Killington, be advised we are about a 45-60 minute drive west of Killington depending which mountain you go to. On arrival you can unwind in the opulence of a 19th century marble mansion and marvel at twelve foot high ceilings decorated with intricate Georgian style plaster crown moldings & ceiling medallions, and the twin marble fireplaces in the double-parlor with gleaming herringbone pattern wood floors and crystal chandeliers. Built in 1867 in the French Second Empire style with mansard roof by relatives of Revolutionary War hero Ethan Allen, the Allen family was one of Vermont‘s first marble investors. The intricacies in mansion make it unique in character and grandeur. Step back in time when cost was measured by the finished product and not by the hours to complete the job.
