Description

We do have dogs on the premise. If you're looking for the great outdoors with a view, this is it. All or 4 wheel drive necessary in winter. Country living with deer, goats, rabbits and more. The guest suite is the basement, and is all yours to enjoy. Creaky floors in Rustic bedroom (new ceiling, but still hear some creaky and dogs). Sulphur smell occasionally in water. RO drinking faucet installed in kitchen. Bring directions provided by me. Stairs to the basement apartment. The space Hi I'm Karen one of your hosts, along with my husband Brian. First off, our home is not a party house, its a family friendly experience. We live on the upper floors. Our guest suite is the fully functioning basement. We have put in a RO water filtration system for drinking water, which will look cloudy because of air in the system, but it will clear up. Also the water on the refrigerator is good drinking water also. You have your own access down the stairs. Once you get down there, you will see the outdoor furniture and gazebo with fire pit(during summer months firepit will be shut down due to fire danger. Weber bbq is also provided. Inside you have 2 bedrooms with king beds, tv and dvd player. The Vintage bedroom has a air conditioner. In the closet of the Vintage bedroom and Rustic bedroom, you will find everything you need for the little ones. Bassinet, play n pak, high chair, swing, bouncy seat, infant bathtub with the amenities and all the bedding. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you may need for your stay. The coffee bar is supplied with coffee(ground and whole bean), tea, hot chocolate, apple cider, creamers, sugar, stevia, and popcorn. The cabinet of the coffee bar is yours for your food supplies. In the living room are two recliners, comfy couch, dvd player, vhs player, over 200 movies, and an x box. In the summer we do have an air conditioner set in the window. Also, we have a vast assortment of kid toys and games(for young and old). . A playhouse for the kiddos is now ready for your little one. The bathroom is stocked with blow dryer, curling iron, soap, body wash(both men and women) lotions, shampoo and conditioners. For the majority of the holidays I do decorate. With Halloween and Christmas being the big time winners. If our home sounds good to you, come give us a try. We will try to make your stay comfortable. Thank you. STR permit #000399 Guest access If you are using a GPS system it will tell you, you have reached your destination. That's when you need to read and follow the directions I give. To reach the basement, walk thru the breezeway, hang a left and down the stairs to the french doors. If you have a problem with stairs please let us know. We live on the upper two floors, so expect to hear creaking floors and also dogs. Our two puppies get a little crazy. There are earplugs in the white crystal dish supplied in the bedroom near the French doors, if needed. Other things to note We are located just outside of Cashmere ,and are 12 miles from Wenatchee and 15 miles to Leavenworth. Go sample some of the local wines here in Cashmere at the tasting rooms. If you like antiques you will love Apple Annies Antique Gallery or the Cashmere Antique Mall. They are great, and I should know. Take a tour thru Aplets and Cotlets which make the one and only candy in the world. If you are into biking, Devils Gulch runs between Cashmere and Wenatchee. Hike the Pinnacles just outside of Cashmere. And we have a great hiking trail right here in the canyon. If you get all the way to the top you can see all of Cashmere and Monitor. Its a great hike, I have done it many it many times. And we are only 45 to 60 minutes away from Stevens Pass and about 40 minutes from Mission Ridge. We also have room to park your sled trailers. Wenatchee has some great places to visit. Ohme gardens, Rocky Reach dam, Saddlerock for hiking, the Apple Capital loop trail for hiking and biking, Apple Blossom festival in May, Pybus Market, go rock climbing at Riverfront Rock gym ,skiing at Mission Ridge and probably more that I am forgetting.
