Please contact us with questions Tucked away on a rare quarter-acre of waterfront bliss, this charming Morro Bay cottage, built in the early 1900s, invites you to experience the Central Coast like never before. With front-row views stretching from the iconic Morro Rock to Montana de Oro, this home offers a peaceful retreat where history, nature, and simple pleasures meet. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the soul of this special place: cozy, welcoming spaces, a breezy open living area filled with natural light, and a backyard that’s pure magic, perfect for morning coffee, sunset dinners, or simply watching the boats drift by. Whether you're gathering with friends, enjoying a family getaway, or seeking a quiet coastal escape, this lovingly cared for cottage provides an authentic Morro Bay experience you’ll remember long after you leave. Home Features: • The front bedroom features a queen bed and has a TV. • The back bedroom also has a California King sized bed. • Living room features flat screen TV with DVD player and fireplace. • The kitchen has been partially upgraded and is well equipped to prepare great meals. (The kitchen does not include a dishwasher.) • The back yard has a nice patio and seating area to enjoy the scenery. • BBQ in the back yard to enjoy outdoor meals. • Full size washer and dryer for guest use. • The garage can accommodate 1 vehicle and additional parking is available in the driveway. Morro Bay is one of California’s great Central Coast communities The area has become famous for its beautiful state parks, bird estuary’s, and the distinct Morro Rock. Tourists and locals both enjoy a variety of activities in the area, including fishing, surfing, kayaking, golfing, bird watching, beachcombing, or just relaxing and enjoying the sunset. Besides the nature and recreation of Estero Bay, there are also fine restaurants, and unique shops. Morro Bay, the largest of the three cities, is at the heart of Estero Bay. Morro Rock, the last in a chain of long-extinct volcanoes, covers over 50 acres at its base and towers 576 feet above the entrance to Morro Bay. The waters that make up the bay are contained within a three-mile sandpit and the shores of Morro Bay and Los Osos. The local fishing industry is one of the most important along the California Coast. On the Embarcadero, you can shop, walk to Tidelands Park and play on the pirate ship, or simply sit and watch as the boats make their way to sea. Permit #STR25-043 Checkout Requirements: To help keep cleaning fees reasonable and prepare the home for the next guest, we ask that you complete a few basic tasks before departure. If these tasks are not completed, a fee of up to $200 may be added to your reservation. Required Checkout Tasks: In general, you are required to leave the home in a reasonable and tidy manor, excessively dirty homes could result in an additional charge. • Load and start the dishwasher (and hand wash any remaining dishes) • Take out all trash and place it in the designated outdoor bins • Turn off lights, appliances, and thermostats • Lock all doors and windows • Return any provided keys as instructed If your reservation includes a pet: • Clean up all pet messes, including waste in the yard or outdoor areas • Properly dispose of all pet waste in outdoor trash bins • If pet waste is not cleaned up, an additional pet cleaning fee of $100.00 will be charged Allowing entry of a pet into a non-pet friendly home will result in a $500.00 special Cleaning Fee. Smoking in or allowing smoke odors to enter any of our homes will result in a $500.00 Cleaning Fee. By booking this stay, you acknowledge these tasks are required. If they are not completed, an additional cleaning fee may apply. Homes left in poor condition or without completing the required checkout tasks may also result in your guest profile being flagged, added to our “Do Not Rent” list, or restricted from booking any of our managed homes offered by any of our rental companies. **Additional Notes: Check in 4:00pm | Check out 11:00am No Smoking, 1 Medium dog or 2 small dogs only allowed. Nightly pet fees, per pet, apply. Primary Renter must be at least 21 years of age, per city ordinance Property Protection Plan provides coverage for accidental damage to the home in lieu of a security deposit.
