Our home is a comfortable, historic cabin right in the heart of the charming town of Grand Lake, 1 block off the main street, 2 blocks away from the lake. Enjoy restaurants, bars, shops just steps away, go hiking, biking, boating, fishing, snowmobiling and more. The space This cabin is warm and cozy, feels like home the instant you arrive. It has everything you'd ever need. It has been renovated on the first floor with beautiful rustic hardwood floors and a gas fireplace. There is also a new, private ensuite above the garage as part of the main house rental (not separate), adding more space and capacity, as well as a beautiful new bathroom. There is a total of 4 bedrooms: master bedroom with queen bed on the first floor with attached updated bathroom; another master bedroom with queen bed above the garage with attached bathroom, plus cute alcove with double bed; two small bedrooms upstairs with sloped ceilings, it is a shared space (no doors) but with two separate areas, one with a queen bed and one with three twins, perfect for the kids. We also have a pack 'n play/crib for the baby. There is a bathroom upstairs with a beautiful antique clawfoot tub to take a nice hot bath after a long cold day. Dogs are allowed and we have a great fenced in yard. For safety and security, we have one video camera by the front door that is always on, and one in the back only highlighting the driveway. Guest access This is a historic cabin, you can enjoy the entire house and the yard. We are also right across the street from a big park for everyone to enjoy, with basketball court, playground, events! Other things to note In summer, you can enjoy the beach, boating, fishing, kayaking, hiking, so many beautiful things to see in the area. In winter, you can enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing (Winter Park is a 45 min drive, or Nordic ski at Grand Lake Golf Course - 10 min), ice fishing, ice skating (free outside rink at right across the street!).
