Aviemore Youth Hostel

Surrounded by woodland, Aviemore Youth Hostel is located on the boundary of the Cairngorm National Park and a short walk from Aviemore town center, offering an ideal location for outdoor activities. The youth hostel provides a good range of facilities including dorms and private rooms, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen, a spacious dining area, a large drying room and ample parking for cars and buses. There is also a large open-plan lounge which provides stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountains and surrounding woodland. Towels area available to hire at a small surcharge. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities. Located just 9 miles from the Cairngorm Mountain funicular and its snowsports area, Aviemore Youth Hostel provides an ideal base for year-round activities, including hillwalking, climbing, snowsports, mountain biking, pony trekking, watersports and fishing. Most activities take place on the Rothiemurchus Estate, which features paths through the Caledonian Pine forest. Hosteling Scotland is a charity and membership organization.
