Home in Half Moon Bay

PLEASE NOTE- we live in a 3 story home and this unit is on the lower level of our home. Also available in a 2 bedroom, this suite features a spacious living room with a fire place, flatscreen TV & a kitchenette with most everything you will need to feel at home. A nice large bedroom with a quality queen bed & linens, a large bathroom with a double sink, tub and shower. The private entrance leads to a patio with stunning views and quiet space. There is a second sunning patio do dine and rest. The space Please note, we have a duplicate listing if you need an additional bedroom. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: We live in a 3 story home, the lower 1/3 of the home is the AirBnB suite, its like having your own apartment suite, but in our home . The kitchen is small yet functional and is stocked with everything you will need to make a morning beverage or warm a meal including pots and pans, an apartment size fridge and freezer, electric cook top, an inversion microwave, coffee pot , toaster, etc. There is no dining room but we do have a small table/desk area as noted in the pictures. The sofa sleeper is a queen and is comfy. We have a number of extra pillows that include foam, down, etc. Lots of 600 thread count sheets, blankets, towels, etc. Please remember, this is not a hotel to trash or a party suite to have, it's our home. We will thank you in advance for respecting our space & house rules so you and others can continue to enjoy all it has to offer. PS - we require all booking guests to have a government ID uploaded to their profile. We’ve had negative experiences in the past, thank you for understanding. If you don't have any positive ratings on AirBnB, when requesting to book , please tell us more about you, your stay, your experience using a home sharing service , etc. Also, we live upstairs, you may hear us walking around, just as we may hear you downstairs, its all part of the home sharing experience. Guest access You will enjoy a private entrance, private deck and the lower floor to our home is all yours which includes a kitchenette and living room, bathroom and bedroom. The fire place has a fan and we use that to heat the downstairs. If you arrive late, it will be on upon your arrival. It heats the room quickly. There are 50 stairs, no way around that, please consider packing light or in smaller bags, 1 large back can be very difficult. They are new, well built with a handrail and lit at night. Check-in's after 10pm are not allowed without prior written approval. Check in instructions will be sent the night before you arrive. Other things to note Your rate includes the San Mateo County, 10% TOT (Transient Occupancy Tax). Arriving after dark? No problem, just let me know. The stairs are walkway have motion detector lights . If you would like the sleeper sofa made up or the fire place on for extra warmth, just let us know. Celebrating a special occasion? We also donate 10% of our income here to AirBnB's non profit providing free nights to people in crisis. Giving back ! We do allow pets with prior approval, the completion of a pet security form prior to arrival and payment of a non refundable pet fee of $125. There is a small yard for pups to do their business :-)
