Prime Hook Beach Home with a View

Prime Hook is a beach & birder's paradise. Our home is simple, clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. The private beach on Delaware Bay is directly across the road. Enjoy a walk on the beach and the stunning views and sunsets of the National Wild Life Refuge from our deck. Fish & catch crabs on bridge around the corner. Note this is a natural sandy beach and not groomed. Horseshoe crab mating season starts end of May. Due to allergies strict no Pets/smoking policy. Nature lovers only. The space The house is raised on pilings with 1 flight of stairs to main level and features lots of windows for a bright and airy feeling with great views. Main living space is an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen. There are two decks and a furnished screened in porch off the main dining area. Three bedrooms sleep 6 comfortably with 2 king size beds and 2 twins. There is a bathroom on each floor an outdoor shower and a full laundry area. Prime Hook NWR is one of the most important wildlife refuges in the country, as it is home to hundreds of species of migratory birds and rare wildlife. You can find a detailed park map and more information if you search prime hook beach on the federal wildlife service web site. Primehook Beach is 5 miles east of Route 1. Shopping, restaurants, theater and more in Milton (9 miles). Lewes (18 miles) is closest ocean beach or continue down route 1 to Rehoboth beaches. Guest access There are two entrances to this home. Keyless entry. You will need a code to get in. You have access to the entire home with exception to one locked storage area on top floor. Outdoor sheds are off limits as well, but there is an outdoor storage bin where beach chairs are available to you. Other things to note Living on a wildlife refuge there will be a variety of creatures like birds, rabbits, deer, horseshoe crabs, mosquitos and other insects. If you do not like nature this is not the place for you. Bring insect repellent. Strict NO PET policy due to severe allergies. Automatic $1000.00 fine if a pet is brought into the home. We have a whole house generator that automatically goes on, if needed, so you will never be without power or internet access. We provide 1 set of towels per guest.(6 guests total) You may want to bring extra bath towels. We provide beach chairs. We do not provide beach towels or shade umbrella. Bring your water shoes. In accordance with Airbnb policy, the person booking the reservation must be present during the stay. You cannot book for someone else. Employers can book for employees using the designated app feature on the Air bnb site “Airbnb for Work”. Please list all adult guests on reservation. If someone other than the people specified show up, the reservation will be terminated, and there will be no refunds.
