Exceptionally located in Inverness, at the entrance of the Point Reyes National Seashore. The endless enjoyment of pristine nature and farm-to-table living are all within walking distance from this magical home. The space The Piper's Bag was originally built in 1904 as a boarding house. In the decades since it has served as a private residence, as well as a beloved bed and breakfast. Ideally situated on a peaceful, tree-lined street, this spacious three-story home now serves as a whole-house vacation rental, boasting loads of British charm! The Piper's Bag is ideal for small gatherings of families or couples, even small groups that just need more space to spread out. A large common area on the second floor holds a huge living room and dining area that has views of the front and back yards, both fenced and private. Off the living area is a sizeable reading room with huge windows framing a stunning, mature Japanese Maple tree in the front yard. Through the reading room, you reach the kitchen, which opens up to the backyard for additional entertaining space. Guests can look forward to six bedrooms, each with its own private bath! Each suite was thoughtfully designed to tell you a different story about this beautiful home's history. The Piper's Bag has been lovingly kept by all its owners throughout the decades, and we have gone to extra lengths to make sure every detail is worth savoring. You really couldn't want for more! Whether your time with us is a quick weekend escape or an extended period of relaxing and exploring the local sights and flavors, we know you will fall in love with the Scottish charm of The Piper's Bag as your home base! (Whenever possible, we take pride in selecting non-toxic products for our home. You can look forward to Keetsa mattresses and mattress toppers, as well as organic bedding. Guest access The guests have access to the whole house and fenced garden area. Each bedroom has its own full bath which essentially makes this a six suite home. WiFi is available and cell service is adequate. Other things to note - Due to owner allergies, no animals are allowed on the property. - Inverness is a quiet town and excessive noise will not be tolerated. - No outdoor socializing after the hour of 9 pm. - No parties or extra guests without pre-approval.
