Entire House - 3 BR, 2 BA Our family's garden house offers character and cleanliness in the perfect location. It is 5 minutes by car from UIUC's Memorial Stadium/ State Farm Center, across the street from the Champaign Country Club, and on the Illinois Marathon route. Our house is perfect for couples, families or groups of travelers and event goers and has garden and outdoor spaces that are enjoyed by our guests. The kitchen is fully equipped; including a grill for the patio upon request. The space The family living space in our house includes a spacious living/dining area with office area, fireplace and cable TV, as well as a separate "garden view" room, also equipped with cable TV. There is queen size sofa beds in the garden view rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with amenities such as a coffee maker, Breville toaster oven, Cuisinart food processor and mixer, high grade pots and pans, and dinner service for 10. We also provide paper and plastic table service for dining on the patio table, as well as a grill for outdoor cooking. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and an attached bath with tub, as well as a cable TV. Upon request we will set up a full sized crib with eco-mattress and bedding in either this room, or the first guest bedroom which also has a queen size bed. The third bedroom has a full size bed. All bedrooms have attractive views of the garden. The second bathroom is adjacent to both guest bedrooms. Amenities in these areas include an iron, ironing board, steamer, and hair dryer. Hospitality sized lotion, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, and toothpaste are also provided for two-day stays. The laundry area with a washer and dryer is in the basement. Upon request, guests will be given a key to that area. For special laundry needs, a drying and hanging rack is provided, as well as a table for folding The gardens are designed and maintained by the owners, both of whom are avid plant specimen collectors. Guests are free to explore both the garden of the Garden House as well as the 1/2 acre garden next door. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house and garden. There is a locked closet in the carport which is for the use of the owners. Other things to note Our space is truly unique due to the lovely gardens and central location. Even in winter, the hardscape of the gardens and the open view of the Champaign Country Club across the street provide an interesting winter backdrop to the house. There are 2 city parks, one with a .6 mi walking path, within 1/2 mile of the house. Both parks have wonderful play areas for children.
