The bungalow sits on 1/2 acre & faces a beautiful Joshua Tree forest. Offering privacy and comfort, it is centrally located 5 min from downtown Joshua Tree, 10 min to the Park, and 15 min to Pioneertown. *Locally owned & operated The house is 870 square feet, and has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Both bedrooms feature California King beds, and are the same size, so no friendships will implode arguing over who gets the bigger room (the "John Wayne" bedroom is actually a few inches longer, but we won't tell your friends). The back yard is completely fenced with a fire pit, bbq, lounge chairs, and a picnic table, perfect for evening meals or morning coffee. There is also a large, amazing Jacuzzi hot tub to relax in after a long day of hiking (please shower first!). If you have never relaxed in a hot tub underneath the starry Joshua Tree sky, then it's time to start asking yourselves some tough life questions and book this house immediately. We spent many months renovating the house into a space that we truly love, and we are excited to share it with you! * You will have access to the entire house and property, except for one locked closet and a detached storage shed. * The house is located on 0.2 miles down a dirt road, and is easily accessible by all cars. Please drive slowly! We live nearby in case of issues that require us to come by. Otherwise phone, text or AirBNB messaging app is the best way to reach us. The door has a key pad lock, and you will be sent a unique guest door code that is valid for the duration of your stay. The house is conveniently located on the border between Joshua Tree and Yucca Valley. Facing a Joshua Tree forest, it offers real privacy, yet is only a few minutes from downtown, and a little further from the National Park and Pioneertown. * The Washer and Dryer are OUTSIDE on the patio - important to note especially during the cold winter months. * Heating/Cooling: The house features three separately controlled whisper quiet mini-split air conditioners / heat pumps. Each bedroom and the great room can be set individually to your specific comfort level. * The TV does not get local channels - it has a ROKU with access to streaming apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime.
