Definitely homey feeling all throughout with some unique features you won't find when you stay at standard hotel. The house was built in 1968, so staying here has a bit of late 20th Century Americana feel while keeping the ability to indulge in WiFi streaming, group gatherings at the farm table, or even sipping a cup of coffee and enjoying breakfast on the deck and watching the birds. 2nd floor guest suite, deck, yard Moderate availability. The host will help you out with any reasonable urgent needs that may arise. This is a quiet middle-class walkable surburban neighborhood with well-kept single-family homes that were built in the 1960s and 1970s. Arundel Mills indoor mall is a ten minute drive as are name brand box stores, grocery stores, restaurants and the large Live! Casino. Fort Meade is a 10 minute drive. BWI Airport is a 10 to 20 minute drive just up the main artery that connects to the neighborhood. Baltimore and Annapolis are 20 to 30 minutes. The free Beverly Triton county park and beach on the Chesapeake Bay is a 30 to 40 minute drive as is Sandy Point State Park with its large beach. Washington DC is 40 minutes by car. Cars are the norm. Train transportation is less than a ten minute drive to the Odenton MARC Station, where you can buy a $6 one-way ticket for a 25-minute trip to Union Station in Washington DC. or in the other direction to Baltimore. The International Airport is just up the road. Connections to major highways (32/295/100/97/Route 3) are a few minutes away. We're sorry but our place is NOT handicap friendly. The access is thru stairs leading to the 2nd floor, the backdoor also has a few steps to get to the deck and access the sliding backdoor. Also we don't have washer, dryer and oven available to guests.
