Plentiful space indoors and outdoors, all cookware, silverware, SPICES, tableware, large and small appliances in the kitchen available including crock pot, blender, microwave and coffee maker (of course), WiFi and Blu Ray player with ALL the streaming channels is set up, all make sure your stay is worry free. You can even bring your well behaved canine companions (small additional charge and agreement required). Master bed is California King, Queen guest, inflatable Queen mattress and there is also a large sectional couch in living room that is perfect for napping or overnight sleeping. The rooms are filled with natural light in a space made for the high desert and its views. Comfortable central air and heat and a wood burning fireplace inside, large patio seating and a hammock facing the park outside. Outdoor propane fire pit with seating. Some of the property is in a regeneration stage from a fire a few years ago (the result of a neighbor's neglect) , but it will not get in the way of your overall view and experience. A true battery recharge. You might not ever want to leave. ENTIRE private home and all surrounding property belonging to Steph is accessible to guests (7.5 acres, unfenced and undeveloped) with extreme care and respect of the wild landscape. Airstreams and additional shop are not available to guests. Hammock and horse shoes available, comfy outdoor couches perfect for wildlife watching. Steph's Panorama Paradise is located in the coveted Joshua Tree Highlands neighborhood, minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, equidistant between the West entrance of the National Park, & the village of Joshua Tree. Dirt roads surrounding the area make for a lovely desert walk , always with a view, and the village has a Farmer's Market every Saturday, restaurants ranging from BBQ to vegan and all points in between, and terrific access to shopping and planning your adventure in the park, if you like. Be sure and take a visit to the legendary Pioneertown about 15 minutes away, near Yucca Valley, where you can find all the major chain stores, antique stores and markets if you need anything, 15 minutes from 29 Palms, 51 miles away from Palm Springs and about 40 mi from Desert Hot Springs. Steph's is off a dirt road, and you will need to have a car to take yourself into the park or to get around. 4 WD not required. Great dirt roads for mountain biking (but, please, no off roading onto any private property, including Steph's acreage. We want to keep the landscape natural). Happily, Lyft (and Uber) are now also available for rides, and will even travel as far as Palm Springs for rides to and from JTree. The wonderful cleaners at Steph's have done their very best to clean according to CDC guidelines. The only checkout requests for guests are every day hopes like checking burners, proper storage of hot ashes (if fireplace was in use) and, if possible, dropping trash and recyclables into outdoor containers. No, we will not ask you to wash sheets, or any of some of the other requests some owners require! Our cleaners are amazing and are paid a living wage to keep your vacation as relaxing as possible and, as with any stay anywhere, we hope our guests will treat the space with respect and appreciation. This is a home that allows well behaved pets, so those with serious allergies must consider that we work hard to clean and sanitize between guests, but there will be the possibility that some allergens may remain from time to time. Steph has owned this house since 1997/8, and originally purchased it with her boyfriend (at the time) and then closest friend, the late blues harmonica legend John "Juke" Logan. Steph is proud to open it up for more to enjoy, so others can create wonderful memories here as she has.
