Irene's House

IIrene’s house is located at the square of Lachania village. It’s a traditional 90 m2 ‘Aegean island’ style Greek house in white and blue with a capacity of 4-6 pax. On the ground floor there is a living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. In the upper floor there is a double-bed bedroom and a terrace with sunbeds. In the basement there are two traditional village-style beds along and one single bed. At the front there is a big shared terrace with a barbecue corner. The space Irene’s house is situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Lachania in the south of Rhodos Island. It is a traditional Greek house in an “Aegean island “style in white and blue of 90 m2. It includes the ground floor with the fireplace, the nice and fully equipped kitchen and the Bathroom with the shower. In front is a quiet big terrace with a barbecue corner. On the first floor you can find a nice and cozy bedroom with double bed as well as another terrace facing the village square with the Greek orthodox church of St. George with his famous Bellrops and the hundred years Plane tree. In the basement, there are two bedrooms in a local wooden traditional style. In all floors there are air-condition units. Upon arrival wine, fruits, and a box of local sweet “loukoumi” is there to welcome you, along with an island guidebook. A beach umbrella and chairs as well as beach towels are available at your disposal. At the distance of 50 m is the Greek traditional Taverna of Platanos offering tasteful local specialities. In the closest villages of Genadi and Kiotari you can find more tavernas, restaurants, bars and cafeterias as well as supermarkets and shops. There is also a Medical centre in Genadi and pharmacy.
