Charming 2 bedroom cabin - Perfect Sonoma/Napa Valley location, 1.5 hrs north of San Francisco - Fantastic views, 22 acres of rolling hills - Hot tub, full kitchen, SATELLITE INTERNET, satellite TV, gas grill Enjoy 22 acres of meadows, rolling hills and forests. Drive down the hill in 7 minutes to the charming town of Calistoga that has everything you need, including shops, restaurants and several world-famous and family owned wineries. Two separate bedrooms with ceiling fans. King bed and Queen bed sleep 4. Spacious living room with wood burning fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, pots and pans, gas burner stove, oven, microwave, toaster and a full-size refrigerator. Laundry space with washer & dryer. Clothes ironing set-up. Orchard with figs, olives, walnuts and other fruit trees. Guests should expect lots of wildlife such as deer, fox, quail, woodpeckers, bluebirds. We also have occasional sightings of frogs, bats, skunks, snakes and various insects. This is country living, nothing too fancy. Summer temperatures average 55 low and 85 high, but temperatures >100 are possible. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the living room, but management of windows and shades is advised. No Smoking. No pets. Dogs only with prior approval. Extra guests only with permission and extra charge. Follow all posted hot tub rules. Great for kids, but only with attentive supervision. We love the northern part of the wine country. Calistoga offers the tranquil setting that one is looking for in a vacation or break away. In many ways Sonoma and Alexander Valley offer the relaxed traveler a lot of opportunities, especially for the ones that look for family-owned/boutique wineries or for people that long for "just a weekend away" with family and friends from the city. We recommend to bring a car. Uber is available but might take some time. If you would like to bring your dog, feel free to discuss with us. Please note, that dogs are subject to a $25 cleaning fee. We have satellite internet with set data per month. It works fine with regular browsing but is not good for streaming films. If you need to do Zoom Meetings you should find alternative arrangements. The cabin is not a good "work-from -home" space. Come to relax - do not come to work. The internet speed might cause frustrations. If you want to watch a certain movie/series, please download at home. DO NOT BOOK THIS CABIN IF YOU NEED FAST INTERNET.
